- A Major Transfer is a student's move to a different major in the same grade, granted only once during enrollment.
Acceptance Range
Major Transfer is granted after deliberation by the Academic Affairs Committee in consideration of the range of 20/100ths of the admission capacity of the departmental (divisional) recruitment unit and the actual situation of the department.
When and who is eligible for major transfer
Period | A one-time application by a second-year or above student to move to a different recruitment unit in the same grade no later than 60 days before the start of the semester. |

Eligibility | Students disciplined under Article 86 of the Academic Code, readmitted students, and transfer students are not eligible. |
Transfer Process

Check admission capacity and transfer seats for recruitment units.

Course Completion
Course completion and graduation requirements after transfer are based on the curriculum of the previous major.
Other matters
- If the number of applicants exceeds the seats in the desired department, admission shall be made in order of grades, but a separate selection test may also be held.
- Those who have transferred must complete the prerequisite courses and graduation requirements specified by the transferring department, except for similar or substitute courses approved by the transferring department, regardless of the number of credits already earned.
- Restrictions on taking a leave of absence immediately after transfer.
