- Introduction
-
Business Administration is a field in the social sciences that deals with fast-changing social phenomena. It is a practical discipline that provides training on how to rationally operate a company based on strategic thinking and think about the corporation’s social role from multiple perspectives. Students conduct theoretical and technical studies of the corporation’s key functions (e.g. management strategy, transportation, distribution, marketing, HR, finances, accounting). The major has study circles that pursue in-depth learning of distribution, marketing, and accounting. Students can also participate in mock stock investment and entrepreneurship contests. Graduates enter the professional sector (e.g. CPA, tax accountant, certified public appraiser, certified management consultant, CFA), start their own company, become employed in the private sector (manufacturing, service, finance, distribution, etc.) or at a public institution, or take the public service exam.
